Recently, there is a lot of uncertainty in the world, the effect of corona virus is bigger than we imagined. It impacts on individual human life, how we live and how we work. At the center of this real human being, are real people like you and me today.
As
long as we live in this world we are bound to face problems. If, at such a
time, we lose hope and get frustrated, we lose our ability to face
difficulties. If, on the other hand, we remember that it is not just ourselves,
but everyone who has to go through misery, then this more realistic approach
will increase our determination and ability to overcome troubles. In fact, with
this approach, each new obstacle can be seen as another valuable opportunity to
improve our mind!
There
is a lot of blame being put on the government, on some races, on others, to end
it, people are frustrated and they are angry, but what can we do that’s
within our personal sphere of action ,what
can we do to stay grounded to stay connected and to stay united not divided.
The
Corona disaster has thus become a lesson in the unity, solidarity and
fundamental equality of all human beings. It has also provided another lesson
for the household. The truth is that each one of us can make a difference, not
only for our own benefit but for the benefit of the entire planet's population.
But in a completely unusual situation created by the corona virus, individuals
suddenly become aware of their latent power and their inevitable
responsibility.
Equality
may be a less obvious factor, but nature tells us that we are all equal. This
new virus transcends man-made distinctions of religion, caste and region.
Whether we are rich or poor live in the city or in a slum, but this virus has equal
ability to harm or help ourselves and others. There is rarely a situation in
human history when every human being stands equal to the danger as well as his
firepower

Interdependence is also something that we ignore in normal times. As it refers to "the whole world is a family" this is true in today's sense, it has become more difficult than ever. We realized how deeply each of us is connected with the other. We are just as safe to take care of the safety of others as not only humans, but also plants and animals. Facing an extraordinary crisis, most people are selfish, but this crisis teaches us to think like others. Time is reminding us to accept humility, our best equality and interdependence.
This
interdependence appears most clearly when both the individual and society are
at risk of disaster. The need for this knowledge is now being felt everywhere
from the outbreak of the corona virus epidemic. The
well-being of all dependents on how each person behaves, the way each person's
safety depends on how society behaves. Everyone can become a potential carrier
of the virus, and is also a presenter of its spread and therefore a protector
of others.
Interdependence
is, of course, a fundamental law of nature. Not only the higher forms of life,
but also many small insects are social animals, which survive on the basis of
innate recognition of their interrelationship, without any religion, law or
education.
Even
the most subtle level of physical phenomena is controlled by interdependence.
The planet we are surrounded by oceans, clouds, forests and flowers, all those
events create dependence on subtle patterns of energy. Without their proper
conversation, they dissolve and decay.
This
is because our own human existence is so dependent on the help of others that
love is needed on the basis of our existence. Therefore we need a real sense of
responsibility and a serious concern for the welfare of others.
The
deepest result of this is that we all share with each other. Although a person
can be left alone, competent and efficient, he will not survive. However, a
vigorous and independent person can feel during the most prosperous time of
life, when one is sick or too young or too old, one must depend on the support
of others.
This
is the time to share some thoughts on compassion during uncertainty like we are
now. It is time to talk about having compassion for ourselves and for other
compassion. When thinking about compassion for others, one of the things that we think about is, no two individual lives are same so we are going to act
differently and react differently for example our job may be more secure than the others who are in more vulnerable positions because no two individual
circumstances are the same that’s why it’s really important to have empathy and
compassion during this time.
So
the way we communicate with more compassion is what we can do is to hold the
space but it actually means being there for each other and listening
empirically. Listening, asking questions, allowing others to express what their
concerns are, is their feelings without invalidating them. It allows people to
have their experience without applying their experience to them.
Another
thing is that if it is possible to use the "I" statement to
communicate more kindly where “I” take responsibility for my own thoughts and
feelings. Example I'm being careful but not nervous. I will isolate myself.
Where it is possible to reduce the spread of the virus. Using “I” statements
avoid blame, judging, accusing or telling people what to do right.
Compassionate
to ourselves during uncertain times, it is very important to express our
feelings and our own thoughts. Another way is to keep ourselves comfortable and
apply our limits in these uncertain times.
Thus
we can gradually strive to become more compassionate, that is; we can have
genuine sympathy for others' suffering and help to overcome their pain. As a
result, our own peace and inner strength will increase.
Ultimately,
the reason that love and compassion bring the greatest happiness is simply that
our nature places them above everything else. The need for love is at the very
foundation of human existence.

Great thought United not divided at the time of coronavirus crisis.
